Bill is the founding principal and visionary of William J. Peltier and Associates, Inc. (WJPA).

Bill’s first love is problem solving. Since early childhood, he has been tinkering and asking questions. He first became interested in structural engineering while watching his father and grandfather build contraptions at his family homestead.

For over 20 years, he has brought his unique expertise to the institutional, industrial, commercial, mixed-use, and multifamily building sectors. Bill is also considered an authority on building demolition. He relies on his exceptional colleagues at WJPA to serve our clients professionally and efficiently. Bill enjoys mentoring and learning from WJPA’s dedicated employees.

Bill lives in Lawrenceville, Georgia with his supportive wife Debbie, and their four children. He considers his family his crowning achievement. When not at work, you will find him spending time with his children, enjoying a cigar on his back deck, or walking at the beach.

In 2023, Garrett joined WJPA as the Practice Leader for their Mid-Atlantic office in Alexandria, VA, in effort to use his engineering and management background to grow the firm’s regional presence. His dedication to being a problem-solver with engineering knowledge, effective communication, and integrity, drives him to manage projects from inception to their successful completion.

Growing up in a military household alongside his two brothers, Garrett spent his early years in Virginia Beach before pursuing his education at James Madison University. Graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, he started his professional journey in Northern Virginia as a project engineer with Structural Technologies. From the beginning, Garrett challenged himself to embrace new responsibilities, ultimately ascending to the role of senior project manager.

Outside of his professional life, Garrett finds fulfillment in traveling with his wife, Mollie, and their son, Evan, taking every opportunity to discover new destinations and culinary inspirations from their travels. At their home in Falls Church, VA, he cherishes quality time with his family while occasionally indulging in his passion for smoking meats, brewing a beer, or finding his next DIY project.

Looking ahead, Garrett is driven to cultivate a collaborative and hardworking group of engineers in the Mid-Atlantic office, envisioning WJPA’s expansion throughout the region to find unique and challenging projects, while maintaining the sustained growth of the team.

Jack grew up in Stone Mountain, Georgia and comes from a large family. He entered the Army after graduating high school and considers that to be the first chapter in his adult life. This is where he learned to be selfless and to lead others to achieve great things. Those experiences are the foundation of his life.

After serving in the Army, he used his veteran benefits to go back to school at Georgia Institute of Technology. There he studied civil engineering with a focus on structural design. After graduating with honors, he joined WJPA in 2012.

Jack grew up watching many of his family members in the engineering field designing and building sawmills throughout America. His grandfather, dad and brother all worked in the design field and have many innovative designs to their name. Simply put: engineering is in his bones.

He enjoys mentoring colleagues and solving problems for clients. Jack lives in Stone Mountain, Georgia with his wife Sandi. His two adult children also live in the Atlanta area. While Jack has many achievements, he is most proud of his relationship with family. It is the one thing that drives him to be a better man.

Since joining the firm in 2014, Laura has kept the company and its finances running smoothly. “Variety is the spice of life” is the best way to describe her typical workday. In addition to overall office management, she is also responsible for project invoicing and enjoys consistent communication with clients and vendors. Driven by a caffeinated haze of optimism, she assists her colleagues with duties ranging from timesheet and expense management, payroll, and human resource operations.

Laura lives in Flowery Branch with her husband, Danny, and their daughters, Sophie and Emily. In her spare time, she loves planning trips to Disney World, studying genealogy, and watching horror films. For several decades, she has volunteered with the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl and is in charge of parade integration.

Arman first came to the United States from Indonesia for his education in 2012. After finishing his studies, he joined WJPA in 2017. Playing with Legos and watching his father’s work as a general contractor sparked his early interest in structural engineering.

Arman has been involved in institutional, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, and renovation projects. He often approaches problems from a different point of view and offers a creative solution. He likes the challenge of complex projects and thrives to deliver efficient and optimal designs.

Arman enjoys exploring new places and discovering new cuisines. Domestically, he has traveled to nineteen states and aspires to visit all fifty states soon. He also enjoys playing soccer and tennis during his spare time.
