This included the demolition of a four-story connector structure that was suspended above the facility that was to remain operational.

The demolition of this structure required the use of remote-controlled demolition robots on elevated levels and a high reach demolition excavator to remove concrete and steel girders up to 4” thick. Temporary shoring was also designed to facilitate new construction on the site.
